Will it leave a fragrance?
The formula is odorless. Complete the fresh-water rinses before brewing coffee.
How many tablets do I need?
Use one tablet per cleaning session in the reservoir filled to its maximum line. Let it dissolve fully before running the cleaning brews.
Can I use them to backflush an espresso machine?
The reservoir-cleaning method is not an espresso backflush procedure. Do not use these tablets for backflushing unless your machine manual specifically permits it.
Can I make coffee straight after cleaning?
Complete the fresh-water rinses first, discard the rinse water and refill the reservoir. Follow the product instructions for your brewing style and any extra rinses in the machine manual.
How often should I clean the coffee maker?
For normal use, clean twice a month. Frequent brewing or hard water may require more frequent cleaning; follow your machine’s maintenance prompts. Cleaning vs descaling
What is in the cleaning blend?
Sulfamic acid and citric acid target mineral scale. The tablet also contains starch, sodium bicarbonate and polyethylene glycol.
