Which ice machines can I use it in?

All standalone residential and commercial ice machines, including countertop, portable and dedicated under-counter models. Not for ice makers built into refrigerators or freezers.

What buildup does it clean?

The deep-cleaning formula removes mineral and limescale buildup in the water pan and internal lines. It deodorizes for fresh-tasting ice and helps maintain machine performance.

How many tablets do I use?

Use one tablet per cleaning session. For a residential machine, dissolve it fully in the water pan filled to the maximum line before the cleaning program.

Is the method different for a commercial machine?

Yes. The commercial method adds one tablet after the cleaning cycle has filled the water trough. Use the commercial instructions and your model’s safe-access and rinse procedure.

Can I keep ice made during cleaning?

No. Discard cleaning-cycle ice. Drain and complete all fresh-water rinses before resuming normal ice production.

How long should the cleaning cycle run?

Let your model’s cleaning and rinse programs finish. Their length varies by machine, so there is no single timer setting for every ice maker.

How often should I descale?

Follow your ice maker’s maintenance schedule. Water hardness and heavier use affect how quickly scale builds up.

Is it safe for my ice maker’s metal surfaces?

Yes. The formula is safe for nickel, stainless steel and chrome surfaces when used as directed. Follow your model’s cleaning and fresh-water rinse instructions.

What is in the cleaning blend?

Sulfamic acid and citric acid target mineral scale. The tablet also contains starch, sodium bicarbonate and polyethylene glycol.
